I look forward to my client appreciation dinners each year. I get the chance to show clients my gratitude by hosting an event at one of the top tier restaurants in the Pearl District. Last year was at Jamison on the Square, which was excellent. This year it was at OBA! Another great choice! The afternoon was well spent.
The food was impeccable – everything delicious, bountiful, and creatively plated. The service was profound: Oba! managed to serve 65 people, many with individual dietary needs, in an efficient and thoughtful manner. (Anyone considering holding a large-scale party or dinner should consider using Oba!, they were wonderful).
The ambiance of the day was upbeat and fun, enhanced by the Dan Balmer Jazz Trio. The Trio played a diverse selection of originals and standards during the meet and greet and cocktail time and provided a nice backdrop to some interesting and fun conversations.
My reward for these events is always getting to see everyone in the same place. Some of you I have known as long as 50 years or more from my school days in Forest Grove!
The relationships I have built with clients are long and lasting and I am proud of that – it’s the thing I most love about my work, and this event gives me a chance to thank you and reflect on how grateful I am for the experience of working with you. I have known several of you for so long I am now helping your sons and daughters with their real estate needs!
Everyone had a great time, ate some delicious food, listened to excellent live music played by a local band, and spent time laughing and enjoying themselves.
A smashing success, and I already can’t wait for next year’s dinner!
